In compiling this list, I have tried to avoid commercial sites.
These sites provide, in many cases, solid instructional materials.
There are some sites that provide important biographical information
about the maters of the jazz guitar. There are also sites that
have transcriptions of arrangements and solos. There is a wealth
of information here for the student guitarist, even without the
aid of a private instructor, even though a good teacher is, of
course, highly recommended.
The categorization of these sites is casual because, of course,
the information in many sites overlaps.
